A reusable, natural, cotton bag with bottom reinforced using rods, for filtering infusion liquors - 10 L - durable, acid resistant steel
An unmatched filtering bag with bottom reinforced using acid resistant steel rods, convenient to use and ensuring efficient filtration. It is characterised by high capacity (10 L) and dense structure of its fabric. Contrary to standard bags, the ergonomic shape of this bag and the reinforced structure of its bottom allow filtering with almost the whole surface area of the bag (corresponding to the diameter of the container on which it is installed). This ensures very high efficiency and shorter filtration time.
Additionally, the bag is fitted with a special anti-slip rubber that makes it easier to pull it onto a container and hold it together with the weight of must. The cut-outs dedicated for the container holders constitute an additional measure preventing the bag from being pulled off during the filtration process, as well as facilitate its installation; The rigidity and stability of the filtering surface bottom is ensured by two rods made of high quality acid resistant steel. Both are located in special, secured ducts that prevents them from falling out or having direct contact with the container. The thoughtful design of the bag enables removing the rods after the finished filtration process, thanks to which flushing and storing the bag is problem-free.
Placing the bag inside the container enables closing it freely with a lid during filtration, which secures the batch against alcohol evaporation and protects it against insects and contamination. Thanks to the dense structure of the material, the must and the turbid particles are stopped on the bag, which provides 100% guarantee that the liquid obtained will be properly clear.
The bag can be used on a bucket with a tap, which allows decanting the liquor directly to bottles.
Bag density:
270/280 g/m2
Fits the 20 L - 30 L containers (also with a tap) with diameters from 31 to 35.8 cm.
How to use a filtering bag:
1. Remove the bag from the packaging.
2. Put the rods made of acid-resistant steel into the small ducts in the bag bottom.
3. Arrange the cut-outs of the bag so that they are located at the height of the filtering container handles and then pull them bag evenly onto the container over its circumference (the rim with the rubber should be under the container handles).
4. Make sure that the bag is installed in a stable manner by pressing gently against its bottom.
5. Pour the liquid into the bag.
6. Leave the content to be filtered freely - it is recommended to put a cover on the container with the bag, which will protect the batch properly.
While the filtration process is taking place you can add further portions of the liquid.
Note! Flush the bag with hot water prior to each use!
The bag can be washed in washing machine in the temperature of 40℃.
