Although potato pancakes are a relatively easy dish to make, you can almost find a million recipes for it! We do not know why, but they are said to turn out best when all ingredients are added on a “more or less” basis. However, prior to developing your own style and preference, we recommend an easy recipe that can become the basis for your own potato pancake experiments.
Preparation:
Grate the washed potatoes and the peeled onion on a large hole grater. Drain the whole pulp and leave it for 2 minutes. Mix everything and add eggs and seasonings. Fry small, flat portions on a hot pan. Drain oil from the finished pancakes using kitchen towels. Bon appétit!
