This perfect quality rectangular stone made of black granite will be excellent for baking both a delicious pizza and crusty bread or cookies. You can also use it successfully for grilling. When placed in a kitchen oven, it will allow you to obtain an effect similar to that provided by a traditional pizza oven.
Thanks to using a 100% natural and strong granite, the baking will be quicker and easier, as it is great at accumulating heat and absorbing moisture uniformly throughout its surface. It is these valuable characteristics of the stone that will allow you to prepare delicious pizzas, among other things - they will taste like in the best Italian pizzerias! Other baked products will also enrapture you with their professional character. The stone is also perfect when grilling your favourite meats or vegetables.
The perfectly smooth top surface, the ground (chamfered) edges and the matt, anti-slip bottom surface of the granite slab - all this ensures convenient and safe use of the stone and easy cleaning thereof after the baking or grilling is finished. If you use it properly, it will serve you for many years while earning unending admiration.
The stone can also be used for serving homemade products - cold cuts, cheese, vegetable, fruit, sushi or starters will look very attractive on it.
This elegant, black stone will be an excellent gift on any occasion. It will become a beautiful and, at the same time, solid and durable piece of equipment of every kitchen, either traditional or modern.
Pizza stone user manual:
Before using the stone for the first time, wash it under running water (cold or lukewarm) or wipe it with a wet cloth.
Place the clean stone (with ground side facing up) on the grill in the form of grid/grating, on the middle level of a cool oven. The size of the stone is adjusted to that of the grill in order to take advantage of its useful surface optimally. Set the temperature to about 250-270°C and heat the oven up for 30-60 minutes. Using a pizza peel, place the pizza on the stone and bake it for a few minutes - depending on the dough thickness, in line with recommendations resulting from the recipe. Remove the finished pizza from the oven using the pizza peel. Once the baking is finished, leave the stone in the oven to cool down completely.
Wash the stone manually, optionally using gentle (natural) dish washing measures. Scrape off gently the stuck remains of the dough.
The appearance of spots on the pizza stone surface is a natural process resulting from using the product. All the spots that do not disappear after washing have no impact on functioning of the stone - they only testify to it being used frequently.
