It is not recommended to wash the platter in a dishwasher, as the more intensive programs damage its surface! To preserve the platter in good condition, it should be washed manually in cold or warm water using dishwashing liquid and then the stone surface should be left to dry or wiped dry with a cloth or a kitchen towel.
