The still for flavouring distillates is a device used for providing aroma to various liquids, such as spirits, water or essential oils.
This modular distillation system was created in order to meet the requirements of the most demanding customers. Thanks to the applications of standardising connections and innovative system elements, this system can be used as a basis for configuring various types of stills. The modular assembly allows expansion or different arrangement of the system.

Basket for flavouring by means of the “Bombay method” is an extremely useful module that allows flavouring the distillate during distillation. The distillate vapours pass through the extremely permeable module that contains herbs, fruit and spices, the unique aroma of which we want to impart to the distillate.
Thanks to the unique design and original perforation, the flavouring module does not “choke” the still and does not cause transfers during distillation.
The connector 250 mm may perform the function of a catalytic filter, as it enables using a filling that increases the purity of the distillate obtained. The best effect is achieved when using prismatic copper springs. The task of the copper is to adsorb volatile sulphur compounds that provide the distillates with the smell of rotten eggs originating from hydrogen sulphide and have a negative impact on their flavour. The coupler holds approx. 450 ml of filling, to be purchased separately.

The basket is dishwasher safe.
Thanks to applying a spiral cooler the heat exchange surface is increased, which translates to quicker cooling and lower consumption of cooling water during the process.Thanks to the valves that enable very precise water flow adjustment and the efficient spiral cooler, it is possible to fully condensate the distillate vapours and cool it down to the collection temperature desired.

The kit also includes:
• Two thermometers - an analogue one placed in the container and an electronic one placed in the frame at the top of the column. They enable direct and constant control over the process.
