Bock beer recipe:
1. Rinse the beer making equipment thoroughly with OXI Turbo.
2. Pour water at about 28°C into a glass, add the yeast that is placed under the plastic lid of the can. Hydrate for 15 minutes.
3.Remove the manual from cans and then put the cans into hot water for about 10 minutes.
4. Pour about 2 L of water into a pot and bring it to the boil.
5. Pour the content of cans into a pot with water and stir thoroughly until the ingredients dissolve. In order to strengthen the beer, you can add 0.5 - 1 kg of sugar or glucose - the latter being absorbed better by yeast - to the whole batch.
6. Pour 2 L of cold water and the pot content into the fermentation container and then top it up with water up to 17 L of volume.
7. Stabilise the temperature at 18-20°C, add the hydrated yeast and stir vigorously.
8. Seal the container tightly and place a fermentation tube* in it.
We recommend a horizontal or angled tube to lower the height of the fermentation vessel, making it easier to place on shelves, racks, or to stack.
9. Carry out fermentation for about 21 days in room temperature.
10. After this time, pour the beer into bottles by decanting it. Add 1 Coopers Carbonation Drops pill or 2.5g of sugar to each 0.5L bottle, seal with a capper. Place the bottles in a dark and warm place.
11. After 2 weeks, the wine is ready to drink. We recommend extending this time to at least 1 month. Cheers!
The kit includes:
- 2 x 1.7 kg of hermetically sealed Dark Ale hopped malt and 2 bags of brewer's yeast,
