Please note: For vacuum extraction, a textured (embossed) film or bag/pouch is required. Ordinary films can only be heat sealed tightly.
Vacuum sealing will allow you to significantly reduce the marinating time of your products and ensure the juiciness of your cured meats during the maturation process. In summer and autumn, using the sealer is ideal for preparing seasonal fruit for freezing. In suitable films, you can also store fresh herbs, for example. After festivities and parties, when there is usually a lot of food left over, you will extend the shelf life of various delicious morsels with vacuum packing.
Practical functions:
Among other things, this sealer is distinguished by its high vacuum level, meaning that air is effectively removed from the packaging before sealing. The higher the vacuum level, the less air remains in the package. A vacuum level of 80 kPa means that the sealer has removed 80% of the air from the pack. The remaining 20% are residual gases such as nitrogen and oxygen. The optimum vacuum level may vary depending on the type of food being packed. For example, delicate fruit and vegetables may require a lower vacuum level to prevent crushing, while tougher products such as meat and cheese may require a higher vacuum level for optimum storage life.
