Dedicated accessories - by purchasing a stopper with a hole and a fermentation tube for the carboy, you can conduct fermentation of wine, beer, or mead in it.

The carboy fits stopper number 647328 (with a diameter of 26/28 mm) and stopper number 647344 (with a diameter of 40/44 mm) – to be used as a cap.

Usage:

Glass should not be subjected to too sudden thermal shocks, as too large a temperature difference may cause damage. It is recommended to wash the glass in lukewarm water with the addition of, for example, potassium metabisulfite or Oxi Turbo. Due to the large stresses that occur during vigorous fermentation, it is recommended to close the carboy with a less tight cotton plug during this period to prevent possible glass breakage.
