Natural cork stopper, agglomerated, made of crumbled natural cork formed into the shape of a cylinder with size of 24 x 38 mm. Suitable for use with a corker and compatible with all kinds of standard bottles used in winemaking. Using high quality cork stoppers is very important and has a tremendous impact on the quality of wine made. Our product ensures durability – the stoppers are easy to use - it is only necessary to remember to prepare them properly for the corking process. The cork stoppers should be soaked in hot water for about 3 minutes. Thanks to that the stoppers become more flexible and malleable, making them easier to push into a bottle neck. If the stoppers are not soaked, this may lead to damage to them or to the corker.

Note!

Remember not to “moisten” the cork stoppers for too long, as this may also lead to damaging them.

How to use:

1. Soak the cork stoppers in hot water for about 3 minutes.

2. Cork the homemade liquor bottles using a corker.

3. After corking them, leave the bottles for a day in vertical position, allowing the cork stopper to adjust to the inner wall of the bottle.

4. Next, arrange the bottles horizontally – this prevents the stopper from drying (the wine “washes” the cork stopper) and ensures proper gas exchange between the interior of the bottle and the surroundings.

5. Check the tightness of the stoppers after 2-3 days. If you notice leakage from any of the bottles, the leaking stopper has to be replaced with a new one.
