Do you dream of lush, healthy plants? Natural activated coconut charcoal is the secret to their beauty!
It will improve the quality of the substrate, increase the availability of nutrients and protect your beloved plants from fungi and rot. Its unique properties make it indispensable for growing potted plants, whether at home, on the balcony, terrace or in the garden. It is also useful for flowers in a vase.
- Protects plants from mould and rot - the addition of activated carbon in the soil prevents the development of plant diseases and protects the roots, which is particularly important during the rooting of seedlings.
- Improves substrate quality - activated charcoal adsorbs toxins, heavy metals, chlorine and residues from chemical pesticides, making the soil looser, healthier and more plant-friendly. It has no effect on soil pH.
- Neutralises odours - eliminates unpleasant odours from soil, compost, fertilisers and water in vases.
- Easy to use - simply mix the charcoal with the substrate in the correct ratio or add it to the container with water.
- Extends the life of cut flowers - by adding this charcoal to a vase, your favourite flowers or other cut plants will please the eye for a longer time.
- Practical grain size - the small grain size (0.6-2.36 mm) means that the soil retains excellent permeability and the properties of charcoal are better utilised by the plant root system.
Take care of your plants today and choose natural activated coconut charcoal to give them the best conditions for growth!
Application
You can add activated charcoal to the substrate in two ways:
- Mix it with the soil, using the amount equal to 5-10% of volume of the substrate.
- For seedlings, add activated charcoal to the water in which they will grow roots (this will prevent rotting and speed up the root growth process).
Tips: 🌱
- The combination of activated coconut charcoal and expanded clay makes an ideal substrate for growing potted plants.
- By sprinkling the topsoil with powdered carbon, you can easily rid the soil of excess moisture.
- Activated charcoal will also work well as a soil decontaminant to be used before sowing seeds.
Important:
The addition of activated carbon does not alter the pH of the soil - making it safe and perfect for any plant, regardless of its preferred soil!
