The bottles have a professional shape, with a concave bottom, which makes it easier to pour the wine into glasses and guarantees that any sediment remains on the bottom of the bottle.

- natural and agglomerated straight cork 24×38

- tapered and straight cork 22×38

- tapered cork 21×16 or 23×18

Tapered corks are recommended for short storage, straight corks - for long maturing.

Tips for wine pouring:

- pour clarified wine into bottles;

- it is not advisable to pour red wine into bottles made of white glass, as there is a risk that light will turn the contents brown;

- before corking bottles, drop natural corks into boiling water for a minute - this will make them more flexible;

- bottle filling is facilitated by a wine draining hose, which should also be rinsed with potassium pyrosulphite or Oxi Turbo solution after washing. When pouring wine, minimise the time in which the wine is in contact with the air;

- bottles for longer storage are filled almost to the brim, leaving only 1-2 cm of free space, and in the case of wine to be pasteurised, the free space should be bigger, approx. 4 cm.

- it is best to store corked bottles horizontally - so as the wine keeps the cork wet. This will help maintain the proper gas exchange and ensure the correct sealing.

Caution:

Bottles must not be washed in hot water, too high a temperature can damage the glass. It is recommended to rinse the glass in lukewarm water with potassium pyrosulphite or Oxi Turbo solution.
