Recommended for the removal of alcoholic fermentation by-products from the batch, in order to achieve purer liquor. The product is an aqueous suspension of powdered activated carbon, obtained from coconut and peat. Thanks to its large active surface area and optimum pore size, it enables the effective adsorption of organic compounds that adversely affect the aroma and flavour of the finished product.
How to use: Add the liquid carbon to the batch together with the yeast and stir for about 10 seconds. Leave it until the completion of fermentation and fining, then decant or filter if necessary.
Liquid carbon can also be used to improve the quality of the finished liquor - to do this, add the carbon to the liquid, mix thoroughly and leave for 24-72 hours, then filter.
Ingredients: water, activated carbon, thickener: xanthan gum; preservative: sodium metabisulphite (contains sulphites).
Store in a dry and cool place.
Do not expose the product to direct sunlight.
