A cost-effective, complete kit for fermenting home-made wine, beer and other liquor. This fermentation container is intended for contact with food and liquor. The containers have a certificate of the Polish National Institute of Hygiene (PZH), approving them for contact with food products.
The strong, transparent plastic is resistant to discolourations occurring as a result contact with tannins from the fruit.
The container has two openings – one in the lid and other in the side wall. The kit features two universal stoppers with plugs and one angled airlock made of shatterproof plastic.
The angled airlock enables stacking of container and arranging them in space with height limitations.
The swivel tap included in the set enables convenient decanting of beer, wine, and other batches.
The container and lid are made of polypropylene, the product is free of BPA.
How to use:
In order to facilitate opening the container, it is necessary to open the lid slightly, slide e.g. a teaspoon handle into the resulting gap, and then pull that object around the rim of the container.
To conduct fermentation, place a stopper in the lid opening and secure it with a plug. Place the second stopper in the side opening of the container along with the angled airlock.
It is not recommended to clean the containers using rough washcloths, as this may cause scratches on the surface that might become a source of contamination.
When installing the tap on the container it is necessary to place the gasket on the outer side of the container. This ensures complete tightness.
PLEASE NOTE:
Before preparing the batch, the fermentation container should be disinfected thoroughly using potassium metabisulphite or Oxi Turbo.
Maximum batch temperature allowed: 85°C.
The temperature of the containers prior to filling should be at least 5°C.
Maximum alcohol concentration in the batch: 50%.
