Modular still 30 L with Aabratek head - electric

This modular distillation system was created in order to meet the requirements of the most demanding customers. Thanks to the applications of standardising connections and innovative system elements, this system can be used as a basis for configuring various types of stills. The modular assembly allows expansion or different arrangement of the system.

• Aabratek head – the appropriate angle of the head – 100° – and the capacity of the pond ensure the high quality of the final product, as well as the capability of obtaining 95% distillate already during the first distillation.
• Precision needle valve – the application of this type of valve facilitates controlling the process and stabilising the column by enabling adjustment of reception rate.
• 360° inspection glass - it is made of boron-silicate glass resistant to high temperature and enables stacking and aromatisation of the distillate.
• Copper and stainless filling are included in the kit – the copper springs absorb sulphur compounds, having a positive impact on the aroma and flavour of the final product of the distillation. The stainless filling is used for filtering the liquid returning from the head and the inspection glass, thanks to which the exchange surface is maximised, thus creation theoretical plates.
• Column cladding reduces heat losses – this enables conducting the process in a lower ambient temperature.

• Still module - 250 mm column connector – made of stainless steel, in a kit containing: silicone gaskets (2 pcs), a complete set of bolts and nuts (4 pcs), mesh support for the filling (1 pc) and 0.5 L of prismatic copper springs.

The connector may perform the function of a catalytic filter, as it enables using a filling that increases the purity of the distillate obtained. The best effect is achieved when using prismatic copper springs. The task of the copper is to adsorb volatile sulphur compounds that provide the distillates with the smell of rotten eggs originating from hydrogen sulphide and have a negative impact on their flavour.

The connector may perform the function of a rectifier, as it enables using a filling that increases the purity of the distillate obtained.

•    Still module – 100 mm inspection glass – stainless still module, with boron-silicate tempered glass and gaskets (2 pcs) resistant to high temperature and alcohol. Structure based on 4 fastenings and rods.

•    Still module – Aabratek head – still module made of stainless still, consisting of an elbow with a built-in dam, a stub pipe for receiving the distillate and a cooler in an open system. Comes in a complete set with: silicone gaskets (2 pcs), a complete set of bolts and nuts (4 pcs). When combined with the kit, the appropriate angle of the cooler and the pond capacity enable obtaining pure distillate of very high quality. The precision needle valve facilitates control over the distillation process.

The kit also includes:

•    Two thermometers – an analogue one placed in the container and an electronic one placed in the frame at the top of the column. They enable direct and constant control over the process.

•    Long (5 m) plasticized PVC hose – for connecting water, featuring a quick coupling than enables easy connection with a tap.

•    1.5 m silicone hose – for receiving the distillate, safe for use in contact with alcohol.
