Turbo Slivovitz distiller’s yeast - for fruit batches and slivovitz (plum brandy) - 62 g per 25 L of batch and 5 kg sugar - up to 17-18% alcohol content, 62 g
Slivovitz, or plum brandy, is dry liquor with high alcohol content created by fermenting specially selected purple plums. Turbo Slivovitz distiller’s yeast has been created in order to provide quick fermentation of fruit batches. A specially selected mix of yeast, nutrients, vitamins, and Pektoenzym is perfect for fermenting plum batches. It enables obtaining 17-18% alcohol content within 10-14 days, providing the batches with the characteristic flavour of homemade plum brandy. A single 62 g packaging is enough to prepare up to 25 L of batch using only 5 kg of sugar! It is very simple to use this yeast, and the effects will surpass your expectations!
How to use:
Fragment 14 kg of plums (best pitted). Prepare sugar syrup from 9 L of water and 5 kg of sugar and pour it over the plums. After cooling it down to the temperature of 25-30 °C add the sachet content and mix everything thoroughly. Subject the batch to fermentation for about 2 weeks, stirring it every 2 days. In order to obtain higher alcohol content, add 1.5 kg sugar after 5 days. Next, filter the batch. We recommend adding the Alco-crystal additive to the finished slivovitz in order to emphasise its fruity aroma.
Ingredients: yeast, diammonium phosphate, potassium phosphate, magnesium sulphate, dried Pektoenzym, vitamin B1.
Net weight: 62 g
Note: use the whole packaging for a single batch.
