Active yeast with huge tolerance for temperature. Perfect for sugar and fruit products.
Highly alcoholozing mix of distillery yeast and mediums for fermenting grain mashes (made from barley, rye, wheat, corn or rice). The characteristic flavour of home-made whisky. Sprinkle the contents of the sachet over the surface of the mash (e.g. 4.5 kg of grain and 15-18 L of water) hydrolysed with alpha-amylase (BROWIN 405120) and cooled to room temperature. Mix thoroughly after 15 minutes. Add ca. 2 kg of sugar and ferment at 20-28°C. After 3 to 5 days, you can add another portion of sugar (ca. 1 to 1.5 kg) and allow the fermentation process to continue until the liberation of CO2 stops. Decant and distill twice when fermentation is complete. Keep distillates in a cool place, away from direct sunlight. Add oak chips to enhance the aroma.
Ingredients: distillers' yeast, diammonium (V) phosphate, potassium (V) phosphate, glucoamylase, vitamin B1 (thiamine hydrochloride).
